Summer camp focused on hands-on science experiences for children in 6th-8th grade.

Campers will visit the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, located next door to Camp Longleaf. Campers will visit exhibits, view wildlife, and participate in a bird show.

Campers will participate in outdoor activities including games and hikes.

Campers will participate in a field trip.

Friendship

Campers will have many opportunities to make new friends during activities, meals, games, and team competitions.

Astronomy

Campers will learn about and observe constellations, stars, and planets.

Campers will experience an evening bonfire, roasting hotdogs and s'mores.

Chemistry Students

Science Experiences

Campers will be exposed to a variety of science fields and hands-on experience such as chemistry, forestry, biology, and archeology.
