Camp Compass

Summer camp for GAL teens, sponsored by Northwest Florida’s Guardian ad Litem foundation,

for ages 13 and over.

Friendship

Campers will have many opportunities to make new friends during activities, meals, and games.

Arts

Campers will participate in a variety of art activities including building with clay, painting, collage, and more.

Bonfire

Campers will experience an evening bonfire, roasting hotdogs and s'mores.

Outdoors

Campers will participate in outdoor games such as GaGa Ball and go on hikes through the longleaf pine forests of the Nokuse Plantation.

E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center

Campers will visit the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, located next door to Camp Longleaf. Campers will view exhibits, native wildlife, and participate in a bird show.

Words On Wheels Bookmobile.jpg

Bookmobile

Campers will be able to visit the Walton County Library Bookmobile on Sunday evening to receive a book for camp and a make-and-take activity from the librarian.

Field Trip: Snorkeling

Campers will participate in a snorkeling adventure with Destin Snorkel.

Music

Campers will learn to play a variety of musical instruments.

Disco Ball Scene

Dance

Campers will celebrate with a dance on Thursday evening.
