Camp Terra Fauna

Summer camp focused on hands-on science experiences for children entering 6th-8th grades.

July 12-17, 2026

$750 with some scholarships for $375 available.

E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center

Campers will visit the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, located next door to Camp Longleaf. Campers will visit exhibits, view wildlife, and participate in a bird show.

Outdoors

Campers will participate in outdoor activities including games and hikes.

Field Trip to the Bay

Campers will participate in a field trip to the bay, in partnership with the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, to learn about watersheds, native plants and animals of the Choctawhatchee Bay, and to help with CBA projects.

Friendship

Campers will have many opportunities to make new friends during activities, meals, games, and team competitions.

Looking Through Telescope

Astronomy

Campers will learn about and observe constellations, stars, and planets.

Field Trip to Topsail State Park

Campers will participate in a field trip to Topsail State Park to learn about longleaf forest ecosystems, forestry management, native plants, and coastal dune lakes.

Chemistry Students

Science Experiences

Campers will be exposed to a variety of science fields and hands-on experiences in biology, chemistry, forestry, and botany.

STEM Challenge
